The Bone Health for Life web site has a primary focus on the ways Australian women and their health professionals can manage their health and thereby improve their bone health throughout the course of their lives.

The development of strong bones for everyone begins early in life and requires continuous maintenance. Practical health and lifestyle information is provided for women and their health professionals to improve bone health, and prevent and manage osteoporosis.

The consumer area presents referenced information on the management and prevention of osteoporosis and the promotion of bone health in general.

These topics allow you to understand how you can develop, maintain and improve your bone health. Technical and medical terms are explained simply. Included are frequently asked questions (FAQs), a glossary and search function to aid in your understanding.
